Mary Ann Jordan Brennan was the daughter of Moses Jordan and Mary Hayes and a native of County Carlow, Ireland.

She married Patrick Brennan on 21 February 1835; marriage recorded at St Lazarian RC church in Leighlinbridge, County Carlow.

There's no birth or baptismal record for her (the likely years were in a record book that was lost long ago at St. Lazarian); census records have her year of birth/age anywhere from 1810 to 1817. Her gravestone lists her as 68 as of 28 Feb 1888 (1817 or 1818). I've put 1817 here to match the stone.

She's the sister of Elizabeth Jordan O'Mara; the O'Maras lived on the lot next to the Brennans in Holland Township. (Their mother, Mary Hayes Jordan, was living with the O'Maras in 1851 & 1861, but I've found no death record yet)

She's the sister of Martin Jordan. The Brennans stayed on the same lot as Martin and his wife in Beckwith Township, Lanark County, until moving to Grey county between 1848 and 1851.
