Pauline Anderson, 89, of Andrews died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in a Gainesville, Georgia hospital. She was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County. Pauline was a homemaker and a member of the Valleytown Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Fred and Edith Lee Hogan and the wife of the late Paul Anderson, who died November 10, 1991. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Ronnie Dale Anderson; two sisters, Evelyn Adams and Hazel Towery; and two brothers, Wayne and Floyd Hogan.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Lequire and husband, Carl of Topton; a son, David P. Anderson and wife, Ann of Andrews; two sisters, Faye Brown and Gladys Webb both of Andrews; four grandchildren, Karen Ellis, Michelle Hayes, Monica Corn, and Daniel Anderson; and six great grandchildren, Wade Ellis, Abigail, Gracie, and Chloe Corn, and Rebecca and Samuel Hayes.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Valleytown Baptist Church with the Revs. Darrell Dockery and Danny Monroe officiating. The interment was in Valleytown Cemetery with the Revs. Sam Hayes and Kenny Corn officiating. Pallbearers were Carl Lequire, Jeff and Wade Ellis, Sam Hayes, Kenny Corn, and Billie Webb.

The family received friends from 12-1:45 Saturday afternoon at the Valleytown Baptist Church prior to the services.

The family requests memorials be made in memory of Pauline Anderson to the Calvary Baptist Church Bible Fund, PO Box 2085, Robbinsville, NC 28771.
