Rodney served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-1968. He was awarded a Purple Heart for injuries he received during the Tet Offensive near DaNang, Vietnam. He enjoyed going to Vietnam Veterans Reunions in Kokomo, IN.
He especially enjoyed his grandkids, hunting, and doing wood carvings.
He is survived by his wife, a son, a daughter, two brothers, six sisters, and four grandchildren.
