David F. Alford, 58, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at his residence in Shelbyville.
He was born Nov. 28, 1944, in Rushville. His parents were Robert Thomas and Beryl Elaine (Swartz) Alford. He married Nancy Ann Collins on July 28, 1965. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Jeffrey David Alford of Shelbyville; a daughter, Kara Lynn Brown of Alabama; a brother, Larry Alford of Milroy; and three grandchildren.
He owned and operated Dave's USA Auto in Shelbyville for 13 years.
He was a member of Greensburg Country Club.
A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service in Shelbyville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Brook Cemetery in Milroy.
