Catherine Marie Abrams
Catherine Marie Abrams, 79, Milroy, died Tuesday at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born April 27, 1919, in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Walter and Mary (Kelli) Stanley. In August 1942, she married Ulysses Abrams, and he survives.
Mrs. Abrams was a farm wife. She was attended Milroy Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Milroy; one daughter, Tommie J. Brown; six sons, Steven D. Gilmour, West Chester, Pa., W. Keith Gilmour, Lebanon, Charles L. Abrams, Napoleon, I. Gene Abrams, Vevay, and Thomas A. Abrams and John R. Abrams, both of Milroy; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Burns Funeral Home, Milroy.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Milroy Christian Church with the Rev. Ron Simbro officiating. Burial will be in East Brook Cemetery, Milroy.
