Joseph Lorenzo Barton

Joseph Lorenzo Barton "Together Again" Joseph Lorenzo Barton, our loving Father, Grandpa and beloved Grandpa Great, returned to the loving arms of his beautiful wife Lola Owens Barton, three days before his 87th birthday on March 21, 2006 in Highland, Utah. He was surrounded by many members of his large family as he left this earthly life. Joseph was born March 24, 1919 in Tropic, Utah. He was the third child and first son born in a family of 11 children, to Leo Lorenzo Barton and Karma Johnson Barton. He married his eternal sweetheart, Lola Owens in the St. George Temple on November 1, 1939. His life has been full of service and love to his family, extended family and many friends throughout the years. He and Lola served three missions together in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Nauvoo, Illinois and Bristol, England. He learned at a young age to work hard and became a skilled carpenter. He loved to sing, play the guitar and trumpet, and dance. He continually used these talents to bless the lives of many. He will be remembered for his cheerful whistle, beautiful smile and unselfish nature. He is survived by his five sons and five daughters: Joseph G. (Carolyn) Barton, Albany, Oregon; E.
