Thomas Jefferson Dunlap passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Grace) Edmonds, May 13, at Connorsville, Dunn County, at the age of 72 years and 3 month. He was born at Tionesta, Pa., Feb. 13, 1848. As a young man he came to Eau Claire and on March 1, 1873, he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Crosland of Concord, Wis. They lived in Eau Claire for many years. Nine children were born to this marrage of which seven are now living. Mr. Claude Dunlap, Rockford, Ill. Mrs. L. E. Preston, Kelsey, Minn., Mrs. C. N. Edmonds, Mrs. C. W. Edmonds, Mrs. A. M. Simmons, Clyde Dunlap, and Mrs. M. H. Burton, all living in close vincinity.
Besides his widow and seven children he is survived by 28 grand-children. He is buried at Connorsville.
