WEST SCARBOROUGH - Mrs. Lida Harmon Milliken, 74, wife of Oliver M. Milliken, of Payne Rd., died Sunday in her residence here after a brief illness. Mrs. Milliken was born June 5, 1884, at Scarborough, daughter of Nelson and Nellie Libby Harmon. She attended Scarborough schools and was graduated from Scarborough High School. She taught school here many years. She was a founder of the Scarborough PTA and a member of the West Scarborough Methodist Church. She and her husband celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary last OCtober. Besides her husabnd, she is survived by a son, Ira M. Milliken, South Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Reta F. Mainville, Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Margery E. Fancy, West Scarborough; a brother, Elver Harmon, a sister, Eleanor Wright, and an aunt, Miss Lida E. Libby, all of Scarborough; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in West Scarborough Methodist Church, the Rev. Lloyd Jewett officiating. Interment will be in Dunstan Cemetery, West Scarborough.
