Mrs. Mabel E. Hart 84 died early Saturday September 29th at the Buffalo Memorial Hospital Mondovi. The former Mabel Snyder was born in the town of York Clark county May 9th 1878. She came to Mondovi in 1932 with her husband the late Fred G. Hart after residing in Granton Wisconsin for twenty-five years. Mr. Hart operated a grocery and meat business with his sons in Mondovi until his death in 1953. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Mondovi and the Lebanon Chapter #89 O.E.S. Survivors are three sons Ross Hart of Waupun, Glenn Hart of Florence and Wayne Hart of Mondovi. One daughter Mrs. Lenore Walsh East Troy Wisconsin. Seven grandchildren, two Great-grandchildren one sister Mrs. Charles Bollom of Neillsville Wisconsin. Besides her husband one daughter Irene and one son Kenneth preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Monday October 1 at 1:30 at the Congregational Church The Reverend Roger Brooks officiating. Burial was at Windfall Cemetery in Granton Wisconsin. Pallbearers were grandsons Bruce Hiles, Darrell Hart, Robert Hart, Larry Hart, Webster Hart and nephew Gareth Bollom.
