Dawn (Yasuda) Allen of Kaysville, UT passed away early in the morning of Nov. 9, 2013 at McKay Dee Hospital from the effect of Pheochromocytoma at the age of 58. She was born July 30, 1955 in Moses Lake, WA. to Tomy and Jessie Lee Drew (deceased) Yasuda. Her early years were spent in Washington and in 1962 her family moved to Kaysville where she attended grade school, Jr. HS and graduated from Davis High School in 1973. She was a D'ette and had many friends. She went to Ricks College for two years where she was involved with the Folk dance team and was voted as Miss Congeniality for homecoming.
She married Michael Allen in the Salt Lake LDS temple Aug. 26, 1977 and was a faithful member of the church. They are the parents of Loni Hammond, Bryan and Hayley Allen.
She worked as a travel agent mostly at HAFB. She loved her job, co-workers, clients and made many friends while on base. We would like to thank the friends and family for the love and support that she received during her illnesses and a special thanks to the many nurses and doctors who treated her.
She is survived by her husband Michael, daughter Loni(Shawn Hammond) of N. Salt Lake, son Bryan(Colleen Lewis) of Syracuse, daughter Hayley Allen of Kaysville, father Tomy and step-mother Norma Yasuda, step-father Robert Peek, step-sisters Jenny and Suzy, step-brother Mark, grandchildren Miya, Stella and Ivy Hammond, Paige, Hayden, Tess and Tate Allen and numerous extended family members.
