Mark Garcia was born to Finano and Teresa Madrid Garcia in 1944 in or near Price, Utah. Their family was poor but happy, with many close relatives. He married and had four children: Debra, Patricia, Mark Leo, and William. He loved Wyoming and being close to nature. His last marriage was to Kathryn Alexander of Iowa, and they had some very happy years. He found peace and joy in being with his children and grandchildren, as well as his horses. He was taken from us too soon. His candle burns on in our hearts. He has no grave as his wish was to be cremated, and we spread his ashes near Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where he lived for many years.
