"Debbie" was born in St. Joseph, Missouri to William (Bill) and Edna Myers of Cosby, Missouri on October 31, 1958. She went to Heaven on May 15, 2012 to be with her big brother that preceded her in 1979. Debbie graduated from Central High School while living in St. Joseph, she was baptized at Copeland Baptist Church and was a member there.

She moved to Austin, Texas in 1982 with her two children to be with her two sisters, while living there she worked at several auto dealerships in sales and marketing. Debbie moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia to help her daughter and children, while her husband was deployed with the Navy. She worked at Geico Insurance there and retired after being diagnosed February 2011 with lung cancer and having surgery and chemo. They all moved back to Leander, Texas in August 2011 where she had many radiation treatments for Stage 4 lung cancer. She fought a very hard and painful battle and while doing so, she did this with courage, maintaining her integrity with the most beautiful smile.
