According to the Marriage Certificate for her second marriage, Pearl's first husband's last name was Patman, not Patton as is written on her headstone. Her second husband was Robert Aliff. They were both residents of Eccles at the time they wed in 1935. He was 60 and she was 43.
She was a widow living on Temple Street for just a couple months at the time of her death. She died at Beckley Memorial Hospital an hour following a heart attack. Death Certificate

On my first trip to the Aliff Cemetery, Eccles WV, with Vickie Aliff she told me that Pearl was the third wife of Robert and that she is buried in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. We went to Mt Tabor but did not find her burial marker. But there are many old graves that have no markers.
