Isabel D. Arnold, 83, of Elizabeth went to be with her Lord Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at her residence.

Born in Orma, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Maury and Minnie Gerwig Keith.

She attended Two Ripple Baptist Church and enjoyed her friends and fellowship with those at Wirt County Senior Center. Surviving are her children, John and Kay Arnold and Wayne and Suzanne Schoenhut; a brother, Lowell Keith of Michigan; sisters, Oleta Tomey of Tanner (Gilmer County), W.Va., and Marjorie Rhodes of Washington, D.C.; grandchildren, Jeff Arnold, Kelly Arnold, Allen Arnold, Keith Schoenhut and Amy Bostaph; and two great-grandchildren, Leah and Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Lester Arnold in 1992; a brother, Harry Keith; and sisters, Mapel Hopson and Leilah Knotts.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Matheny Pomroy Funeral Home, with Pastor Dwight Goff officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery of Calhoun County. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Friday and until the time of service Saturday.
