Chillicothe - Carol A. Bornsheuer, 61, of 819 Hushaw died at 6:58 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born June 6, 1932, in La-Prairie Township, Marshall County, to Francis L. "Roy" and Mary Velma Martin Bennett, she married Kenneth E. Bornsheuer on Oct. 6, 1950, in La-Prairie. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Michael E. of Dunlap; two daughters, Mrs. Jon (Debra Kay) Deyo of Chillicothe and Julia Ann Bornsheuer of Peoria; one brother, Robert Bennett of Chillicothe; one sister, Mrs. Walter (Lois) Potendyk of Peoria Heights; and five grandchildren.
She was a secretary at Arrowhead Country Club from 1971 to 1985, where she also was a member.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Chillicothe. She was a member of Chillicothe University Club.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon. The Rev. Ray Harrison will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the memorial home. Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery. Memorial may be made to her church or Rescue 33.
