John Carson Duff Jr. passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at the age of 53 after a long illness.
John Carson was born Sept. 1, 1953, in Wilmington, Del., where he lived until coming to Ventura in 1980.
John Carson worked as a highly respected printing estimator in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Francisco.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Carson Duff Sr. of Wilmington, Del.
He is survived by his mother, Harriet Duff of Ventura; sister, Dr. Jonna C. Duff of Oxnard; and his great and longtime friend, Ron J. Spry, who was always there when needed. We will all feel the loss of this kind, thoughtful and generous son, brother and friend.
John Carson was never without a dog companion and Buddy and Sheena will miss his constant love and attention.
