93, of Cedar Lake passed away Wednesday, November 17, 1999 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Hobart. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Herman; two sons, Harry (Ardyth) Schlichting of St. Petersburg, Florida and Wayne (Marlys) Schlichting of Hobart; one step-sister, Esther Stone; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20,1999 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lowell, Indiana, Rev. Mark Pflughoeft officiating. Interment, Lowell Cemetery, Lowell, Indiana. Friends may call at the Eller Brady Funeral Home, 8510 Lakeshore Drive, Cedar Lake, Indiana on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Bertha was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
