Queena Bess Allen, 81, of Kerens passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Heritage Oaks West Nursing Home.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Paschal Funeral Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Paschal Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wes Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Kerens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Allen, Naaman Allen, Dillon Allen, Dickie Allen, Tommy Darby and Andy Darby.
Mrs. Allen was born Nov. 22, 1926, in Roane.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D.H. "Blackie" Allen; and son, Brian Allen.
Survivors include her sons, Gregory Allen and wife Jenny of Kerens, Jakie Allen and wife Judy of Crandall, and Larry Allen of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law, Carol Allen of Kerens; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Allen, Naaman Allen, Amanda Allen, Tara Niedzwecki, Caleb Allen, Kerrie Owens, Ashley Grace and Dillon Allen; three great-grandchildren, J.D. Niedzwecki, Allen Niedzwecki and Hudson Grace; and sisters, Bobbie Jo Darby of Kerens and Katherine Wallace of Vernon.
