Born November 27, 1865 at Kingston, Ontario, Mr. Walker lived for a number of years at Iron River, Wisconsin before locating for a short time at Walker, Minnesota, and later at Bemidji.

He was married to Georgianna (Boss) at Detroit Lakes on 31 Dec 1889 and were residents of Bemidji since 1901 where he was an agent for the Minnesota & International Railway.

Mr. Walker had been secretary of the Masonic lodge for over 20 years, He was survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. M. Everest of Cathlamet, Washington, and Mrs. Frank Shane of Seattle, Washington; three sons, F. D. Walker of Castle Rock, Washington, George A. Walker, Jr., of Pocatello, Idaho, and William Walker of Bemidji
