Donna Lee Wilkerson Coburn, 68, of 1725 Neely Ferry Road, Laurens, wife of 50 years to William "Bill"Coburn, passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Washington, D.C.,she was a daughter of the late LeMoine Alroy Wilkerson Jr.and Laura Jane Foster Wilkerson. She was a member of Rabun Creek Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class.
She retired from AT&T and enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, quilting, and crafts.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters,Kim Coburn Traynham (Don),Wendy Coburn Blackshire(Jody);
three brothers, Larry Allen Wilkerson, Paul Wayne Wilkerson, Randol LeMoine Wilkerson; a sister, Patricia Lynn Gribble; three grandchildren,Joshua Andrew Traynham (Samantha), Dr. Lacey Traynham Whittaker(Nick), Daniel Joseph Blackshire; and three greatgrandchildren,
Skyler Traynham, Alyssa Traynham, and William Riley Whittaker.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16 at Rabun Creek Baptist Church, conducted
by the Rev. Clarence Adkins with burial in the
church cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950
West Faris Road, Greenville,SC 29605.
