Funeral Services Held Monday For Mrs. Bryant
Funeral service for Mrs. Laura Gertrude Bryant, 79 of Jonesboro were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Beech Springs Baptist Church near Quitman with the Revs. Carl Rushing and Major Lewis officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Mrs. Bryant passed away early Saturday afternoon in the Jackson Parish Hospital following a long illness.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Betty Jo Finck of Jonesboro and Mrs. Mary Odell Deese of West Monroe; one stepdaughter, Miss Barbara Bauer of Ruston; eight grandchildren, four step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Edison Walker, John Wayne Morrow, J.O. Blundell, Donnie Smith, Lawson Alford and Lonnie Poland.
