Charles (Fats) Aesque
Charles (Fats) Aesque, 47, of 1576 Greenfield Ave., died at 5:45 a.m. Sunday after a long illness.
The former owner and operator of Morelock grill, he was born in Sullivan County and spent most of his life here. He attended Bethel Presbyterian Church and was a member of Moose Lodge 972.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Inez Hicks Aesque; daughter, Miss Carol Ann Aesque; son, Charles T. Aesque, Jr.; his father, Carl Aesque; step-mother, Mrs. Opal Aesque; sister, Mrs. Etta Smith, and brothers, Allen and Eugene Aesque, all of Kingsport; and a half-sister, Mrs. Delores Semones, Jarrett, Va.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Bethel Presbyterian Church b the Rev. Richard Keeton and the Rev. L.C. Collins. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
The body will be taken to the church one hour before the funeral from Carter's Chapel Funeral Home.
