A Prominent Pleasant Valley cattle rancher for many
years, Joseph Henry Baker, 85, died June 16th at
Gila General Hospital. Funeral services were held
Tuesday at 2 pm at the Baptist Church in Young with
Reverend Cecil Brown of Miami officiating.

Baker came to Arizona 51 years ago from Sutton,
Texas, where he was born May 25th, 1872.

He is survived by his wife Georgia Belle of Young.
Two brothers, Sterling and Claude of Sonora, Texas.
Two sisters, Zadie Wyatt of Sonora, Texas and
Leona Kelly of Junction, Texas.

Walker's Globe Mortuary was in charge.
