Obituary - Nona May Zent was born at Little River, Kansas, May 25, 1883 and departed this life at Halstead hospital, Halstead, Kansas, January 4, 1926; aged 42 years, 7 months and 21 days. At an early age she united with the M.E. Church at Little River. She was united in marriage to Wallace Banister at Little River, September 11, 1901. To this union were born six daughters, all living. Her devoted husband, and the children - Clarence of Emporia, Mrs. Erma Cook of Wichita, and Alvin, Marjorie, Thelma and Lena at the family home in Wichita, together with the broken-hearted parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Zent of Little River, and two brothers, Roy and Joe Zent of Wichita, and two sisters, Mrs. Mable Andrews of Little River and Mrs. Ethel Shehi of Parsons, Kans., other relatives and a host of friends mourn her going. Nona grew to woman hood in Little River, and was well known and loved. She was a dutiful daughter and a dvoted wife and mother. Her children will love her memory and long feel her influence. She was kind to all, ever ready to help, sacrifice, and do for others. Funeral services were conducted brom the M.E. Church in Little River at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon by the Rev. Percy L. Perry.
