Sammie Herbert Dixon, 87, resident of Charleston died Monday, January 14, 2013 at the home of his niece with whom he lived.
He was born January 25, 1925 in Thompson Bend, Missouri to the late Ozark and Essie Martin Dixon.

He later married Jessie Dixon who also preceded him in death.
He is survived by one brother, Robert Dixon of Sikeston, two sisters, Rosemary Smith of Sikeston and Pauline Salvorah of Danville, IL
