First wife was Catherine Morgan Starr (1810-1848). Second wife was Mary Ann " "Polly" Duncan Starr. Thomas and Polly are buried in unmarked graves just inside the entrance to Duncan Cemetery. The graves used to be marked by two large trees but they were uprooted by a tornado.
