MR. BUERGER

Silverius Peter Buerger, 88, of Lomira, died Tuesday, May 6, 1989, at Hope Nursing Home, Lomira.

He was born April 24, 1901, in Lomira, to Conrad and Veronica Braun Buerger. On Nov. 12, 1932, he married Olive Elizabeth Wondra at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport.

Mr. Buerger was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lomira, and the church's Holy Name Society.

Survivors include five sons, Conrad and his wife Audrey, William and his wife Joan, Michael and his wife Gladys, all of Brownsville, Joe and his wife Jean, and Dean and his wife Stephanie, all of Lomira; three daughters, Mary Ann Betz and her husband, Wally and LuEllen Reimer and her husband Ken, both of Lomira, and Donna Herman of Bolling Green, Ky.; 35 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Felicia Abler and her husband Leo of Mount Calvary , and Katherine Glaser and her husband Jim of Fond du Lac; and four brothers, Alphonse and his wife Delores and Florian and his wife Genevieve, both of Fond du Lac, Gerald and his wife Marion and Andrew and his wife Mary, both of Brownsville; nieces; and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife; one brother, Casper; one sister Esther Buerger; and one grandson, Blaine Buerger.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lomira. The Rev. Steve Stradinger will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School, Lomira.
