Richard C. Abbott, son of Michael and Catherine Abbott, and a resident of Taunton for nearly all his life died in this city Saturday. He was well known here, being a barber. He received his education in the schools of this city and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. He is survived by his mother, by his wife, Esther F. (Scanlon); a son, Charles; one daughter Marie; four brothers, John and Everett of North Boston, James of Boston, and Christopher of Indiana., and by two sisters, Mrs. Scott White of Raynham and Mrs. George Evans of East Taunton.
