Obituary

Sue Horne Bishop, 61, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Vernon Knight will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 PM Friday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mrs. Bishop was born in Macon the daughter of the late Hattie Bunch Horne and Raymond Frank Horne. She was retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Bishop is survived by her husband, William Randolph "Randy" Bishop of Milledgeville; daughter, Kelly Bishop (Kenneth, Jr.) Smith of Gray; grandchildren, Kenni Smith and Konner Smith; brother, Ray (Del) Horne of Woodbury; several nieces and nephews. Her family, especially her grandchildren, were the highlight of her life.
