Sw. Marcin Catholic church records from the parish of Szubin, Posen, Preussen, (now Szubin, Kujawsko-Poomorskie, Poland) list the birth of Marianna on 8 February 1853 at 8 in the evening in the village of Pinsk, parish Szubin, to father, Victor Masiakowski and mother, Margar. Gonia. She was baptized on 13 February, 1853. ( Note: the year of birth on her tombstone lists 1852).

Translation obituary in "Nowiny Polskie", September 27, 1933:
On Monday evening 25th of September, went to God after a long and serious illness, provided with the Holy Sacraments, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.

Aged 81 years, 7 months, and 17 days.
The deceased was born on February 8, 1852 in the Duchy of Poznan.
The deceased is mourned by: 2 daughters, 3 sons, a sister, 16 grandsons, 10 granddaughters, and 1 great grandchild.
The funeral to the church and cemetery will take place on Friday morning at 9:00 am from the funeral home, A. Bruszkiewicz, 2101 W. Mitchell st. to St. Vincent church and then to St. Adalbert cemetery.
The family invites all relatives and acquaintances to this sad rite.
