Earl A. Baker, 72, of 1218 21st St., Vienna, died at his residence Saturday morning.
He was born in Roane County, W.Va., a son of the late H.E. and Effie Whited Baker. He was member sic of the Parkersburg Elks, and retired from the American Viscose Division of FMC following 33 years of employment.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Mace Baker; one son, Earl A. Baker Jr. of Vienna; one daughter, Carolyn Boggs of Vienna; three grandsons, Thomas Hayes of Vienna, Wesley Hayes of Parkersburg and Scott Baker of Parkersburg; one granddaughter, Christine McCracken of Denver, Colo.; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Harl W. Baker of Chafin, S.C.; three sisters, Gladys Woolard and Helen Wiseman, both of Parkersburg, and Lorraine Wesson of Vienna.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. J.D. Shaffer officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery North.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. today.
