Lawrence M. Apolito,78, of North Caldwell, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Apolito has been a resident of North Caldwell for over 45 years. He had a distinguished career on Wall Street for over 40 years and was head of equity trading at Oppenheimer Funds in NYC. Additionally, he served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was the beloved husband of Loretta (Valeri) Apolito; devoted father to Lauren Bonura and her husband Frank; Lawrence Apolito and his wife Maria and Christopher Apolito; cherished grandfather to Alexis, Alexandra, Brandon, Adriana and Nicholas; and dear brother to Caroline Amato and Teresa Pope.
