(ALEXANDRIA) Services for Kelli Raisanen Best, 40, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Saks Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Harper officiating.

Burial will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery in Randolph County.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Best will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include her husband, Jonathan Best of Alexandria; son, Richard Braden Best of Alexandria; parents, Richard and Molly G. Raisanen of Anniston; brother, Keith Raisanen of Heflin; and three nieces. She was preceded in death by M.O. and Oris Kirby Gross, J.L. and Grace Raisanen.

Pallbearers will be Don Gross, James Nowlin, Brandy Law, Todd Caldwell, Tim Sharp, Bobby McCune, Joshua Lipham and Chris Law.

Kellie was a native of Calhoun County and a resident of Alexandria. She was a substitute teacher at Alexandria Elementary and High School and active in Alexandria Little League Baseball. She was a member of Saks Baptist Church.
