Pittsboro - Orse Armstrong Dies

Orse Armstrong, husband of Mary Armstrong, died, Sunday morning at the age of 71 years. He had lived most of his life in Union and Middle townships, the son of Monroe and Eveline Armstrong. He had farmed until about a year ago when he retired and moved to Maplewood. He was the father of four boys and two girls. One son, Estel, preceded him in death. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Ivy Lawson, of Indianapolis, and one brother, Douglas Armstrong, Sr., of Pittsboro. Funeral services were held yesterday at the McConnaha Funeral Home with burial at Lizton.
