Norman L. Alberts, 67, of Bristol, RI, died in an auto accident Wednesday, July 17, 1996. Born Nov. 26, 1928, in Lafayette, he was a 1950 graduate of Purdue University. He also received two master's degrees at Purdue between 1951 and 1955.
Mr. Alberts was a member of Phi Kappa Si fraternity and had lived in Rhode Island since 1976. He also lived for a while at Northbrook, IL. He was a retired plant manager of Health Tex Company in Bristol. He was a member of the Medina Temple in Chicago, Scottish Rite, and West Lafayette Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are a daughter, Nanette Korpy of Farmington Hills, MI; and a step-sister, Rita Atkinson of Fowler.
