Charles Buford Adams, Jr., 43, died Sunday morning, Feb. 9, 1992, in his Lafayette home. Born in Lafayette July 4, 1948, he was a lifelong resident of this area. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and attended college in Sarasota, FL.

Mr. Adams worked at CTS Corp's Microelectronics Division in West Lafayette through Manpower Temporary Services. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, American Legion Post 11, and the Lafayette Area Streetrodders.

Surviving are a daughter, Ashley Ann Adams of Lafayette; his father and stepmother, Charles B., Sr. and Donna Adams of Lafayette; his mother, Martha A. Adams of Detroit, MI; four brothers, Harold D. Adams of Lafayette, Terry L. Adams of Troy, MI, Gary S. Adams of Ossian, IN, and Vincent P. Adams, stationed with the Marine Corps in Japan; and two sisters, Anita M. Alsop of Lafayette and Ursula E. Adams of Detroit, MI.
