Surviving are her daughter, Sherri A. Getson and husband, William of LaVale, her father, Stephen V. Watkins, her brothers, Georgge S. Watkins and wife Rebecca, and Harold J. Watkins and wife Rhonda, all of Mount Savage. One niece, Autumn Watkins of St. Petersburg, Florida and two nephews, Andrew P. Watkins, Mt Savage and Daniel J. Watkins, Ridgeley, Wv. and her special aunt, Trennetta Winebrenner, a cousin, Cathy Blank, Mt Savage and good firend, Sherry Troutman, Wellerburg.
Rose was a registerd nurse and retired after 32 years from the Western Md. Health System in July 2009. She worked in the High Level Care Unit and ended her career in the CVU Unit. Whe touched many lives throughout her career, as well as making many friends among those with whom she worked. She was a blessing to all and was blessed by a loving family and many caring friends. She served as a confidant, mentor, and caretaker for the whole family when her mother passed. She will be deeply missed.
