Junior Ray Adams, 82, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, September 29, 2004, in the Mount Macrina Manor.

He was born July 24, 1922, in Uniontown, a son of the late John and Odeal Johnston Adams.

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Kathrine Klipa Adams; and two brothers, Samuel and Clyde Adams.

Surviving are nine children, Larry Adams and his wife Gail, Keith Adams and his wife Susan, Donna Dziak and her husband Jon, Lonnie McKinney and Timothy McKinney, all of Uniontown, Leslie Adams and his wife Cynthia of Fairchance, Kathleen Mills and her husband James and Jeffrey Adams and his wife Crystal, all of Vanderbilt, and Rene of Ohio; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Spiker and her husband Sam of Shoaf, Pa.

Mr. Adams was a former employee of the Laurel Highlands School District.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday until 10 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Donald J. Immel officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
