Billy Roy Shelden, age 56, passed away on August 3, 2003 in Branson, Colo. He was born on May 14, 1947 to Eli and Ida Mae Shelden in Trinidad, Colo. Bill enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Rhonda Jo Church. He is survived by his mother, Ida Mae of Lakin, Kansas, children, Lorraine (Mike) Heinitz of Lakin, Kansas, Jennifer (Greg) Wilkerson of Garden Grove, Calif., Sarah Shelden, Emily Shelden of Silver Creek, New York, brothers Robert of Houston, Texas, Theodore (Barbara) of Garden City, Kansas, Jerry (Peggy) of Eads, Colo., Thomas (Venita) of Spearville, Kansas, Roger (Glenna) of Marshalltown, Missouri, Donald (Janie) of Guyman, Okla., Norman (Tammy) of Lakin, Kansas, Matt (Denise) of Branson, Colo. sister Thelma Turney of Branson, Colo., grandchildren Katie and Brandon Heinitz, Garrett and Katrina Wilkerson and many relatives and friends.
Visitation for Bill will be held on Thursday, August 7, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mullare-Murphy Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service is planned for Friday, August 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the Branson Community Church with Pastor Bart Blackwell officiating. Interment to follow at the Branson Cemetery in Branson, Colorado.
