OBITUARY from the Greensburg Record Herald: Mr. Thomas Ewell DEHONEY, son of the late Mr. Ed DEHONEY and Mrs. Sallie Squires {DEHONEY}, was born 26 Nov 1914 in Green Co. and departed this life on 14 Mar {1990} at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg. He was 75 years, 3 months and 16 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church. He united in marriage to Miss Mary Frances THOMPSON on 30 Jul 1932, who preceded him in death on 30 Nov 1976. To this union were born 2 children: Mrs. Sarah {Dehoney} NOE of Greensburg and Mr. Ivan "Tommy" DEHONEY who preceded him in death on 28 Aug 1987. He later united in marriage to Miss Martha Hellen KELTNER on 14 Jan 1979, who preceded him in death 6 Oct 1985. He is survived by 1 step-son: Mr. David BUTLER of Columbia; 4 grandchildren: Mr. Barney DEHONEY and Mr. BEN DEHONEY, both of Greensburg, Mr. Brad NOE of Henderson and Mr. Kent NOE of Greensburg; 2 step-grandchildren: Mrs. Kelly CALDWELL and Mr. Eric BUTLER, both of Columbia; 3 great-grandchildren: Miss Diana DEHONEY, Miss Rhiannon NOE and Mr. Joshua NOE, all of Greensburg, and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services of Mr. Thomas Ewell DEHONEY were conducted at 2 pm Thu. 15 Mar, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, with burial in the Summershade Cem. Rev. Todd LOVE officiated. Active pallbearers were Eunie BURRIS, Jimmy WILSOXSON, Earl BURTON, Welby THOMAS, Stanley THOMAS and J. E. JOHNSTON. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. James MILLER, John EWING, Dr. Ruel PERKINS, Robert COX, Joe GUTHRIE, Ralph TUCKER, Wayne EDWARDS, Henry DURHAM, and Bruce CLARK.
