Gerald M. Grunewald, Sr, age 67 of Kiel, died Monday January 20, 2003 at St Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
He was born in Town of Herman, son of Herbert and Florence (Boeldt) Grunewald. Gerald attended School in Town Meeme and the Sheboygan Vocational School.
Virginia M Wagner and Gerald M Grunewald Sr were united in marriage on May 21, 1966 at Bethl Church in Ada.
Jerry farmed in Town of Rhine for many years and had been employed at NAPA Automotive in New Holstein for the last 10 years.
He as a faithful memeber of Bethel United church of Christ in Ada where he had served on the consistory. He was also a member of the National Farmers Organization. Jerry enjoyed helping others and tinkering with mechanical things.
Surviving Jerry is his wife Virgina; a son Gerald Jr,(Shelly) of Tularosa, N.M. : three daughters Mary Ann Thomas of Sheboygan, Lora (Scott) Stover of Jacksonville, N.C., Linda Grunewald of Sheboygan; his mother Florence Grunewald of Howards Grove, 14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren. A brother Glenn Grunewald of Sheboygan and two sisters, Bernice (James) Betzold of Fordland, MO and Gloria Hunt of Kenosha.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father Herbert.
Burial in Bethel Church Cemetery.
