Donald R. Acton, 64, died April 18, 2007, at the Powell hospital.
He was born Jan. 8, 1943, in Cowley to Francis and Mable Sims Acton. He graduated from Cody High School and attended Hastings College in Nebraska and Northwest Community College.
He was a computer specialist. A Navy veteran, he served in Vietnam and was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
He is survived by children Eric Acton, Dan (Natalie) Acton, Toni Hellyer and Kristi (Mike) Logsdon, 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, son Kevin Acton and sister Barbara Jean Dalton.
A private family memorial is planned.
