It is believed that this T. H. Allen was Thomas H. Allen, who was the husband of Lucy Ann Lewis, married in Sullivan County, Missouri on 16 Dec 1843. Thomas H. Allen was the father of both of the wives of Moses E. Phillips. Moses first married Lillie V. Allen. After her early death at age 25 in 1881, Moses married the younger sister of Lillie, Flora C. Allen.

Moses E. Phillips is buried in Cambria Cemetery, next to his first wife, Lillie V. (Allen) Phillips.

Thomas H. Allen was living with Moses E. Phillips and his second wife Flora C. (Allen) Phillips in 1900 Census, San Simeon, Thomas listed as his father-in-law.

Another daughter of Thomas H. Allen is buried in Cambria Cemetery as well. His daughter Clara E. Juliet Allen married William Phillips. William Phillips was the twin brother of the above Moses E. Phillips. So twin brothers married 3 sisters. William Phillips and wife Clara share a gravestone in Cambria Cemetery.
