Mr. Allen is also survived by three children, Robert Quentin (fiancé, Kim Gerhardt) Allen of Warsaw, Alicia Jean (husband, MSgt. Joey Lance) Ray of Conway, Arkansas, and Russell Matthew Allen of Woodson; four grandchildren, Nathan Allen, Cyle Denison, Jeff Hageman, and Holly Ray; and three sisters, Mary (husband, David) Wilber of St. Louis, Virginia (husband, John) Cloninger of Rock Island, and Norma Simpson of Houston, Texas.
Mr. Allen was a truck driver for Western Commercial. He had earlier driven for C.B.W. of South Roxana and built homes in the area. He served in the United States Navy, aboard the U.S.S. Chandler destroyer in the Pacific Fleet. Mr. Allen enjoyed woodworking, building furniture, John Deere tractors and Peterbilts. He was a family oriented man who cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Services were entrusted to Williamson Funeral Home of Jacksonville, Illinois.
