Patricia Joanne Andreassi, 78, of Sycamore Road, Karns City, died unexpectedly of natural causes Tuesday evening at her home.

Born in Rimersburg, Jan. 20, 1929, she was the daughter of Joseph and Helen Brogan Painter.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church of Bradys Bend and the Young at Heart group of the church.
Mrs. Andreassi was a 1947 graduate of East Brady High School and belonged to the yearly reunion planning committee at the time of her death. She was a charter member of the Sons of Italy in Bradys Bend for more than 50 years.

Surviving are her husband, John B. Andreassi, whom she married Oct. 22, 1949, in East Brady; three sons and their wives, Michael and Leah Andreassi of Chicora, Chris and Val Andreassi of Butler and Steven and Lori Andreassi of Chicora; four daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy Andreassi of Butler, Joan and Dennis O'Donnell of Saegertown, Pa., Amy Andreassi of Murrysville and Gina Andreassi of Pittsburgh; and 10 grandchildren, Megan O'Donnell of Phoenix, Ariz., Kelly O'Donnell of Atlanta, Ga., Matthew, Danny, Tony, Jon and Carlo Andreassi, all of Butler, Nicholas Andreassi of Chicora and Livia and Julia Andreassi, both of Chicora;
She also is survived by a brother and two sisters, Bill Painter and his wife, Jeanne, and Dawn Weibel and her husband, John, all of East Brady, and Lucy Painter of Butler; an aunt, Leora Rutan of Rimersburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was the loving sponsor of Alvaro Cocon of Guatemala for the past 16 years.

She was preceded in death by an infant son and an infant daughter.
