Andrew M. "Curly" Adams, 82, of Espyville, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, in Rolling Fields Nursing Home. Born March 24, 1933, in Brady's Bend, he was a son of the late Ralph and Josephine (Phillips) Adams. He was a machinist at Pullman Standard in Butler. A Korean War veteran, he served in the Army. He was a member of St. Philip Church in Linesville. Mr. Adams enjoyed playing country music, bingo and using his metal detector. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine brothers and six sisters. Survivors include two sisters, Nora Eyth, of Butler, and Josephine Stivanson, of Butler; a nephew, with whom he resided, Barry Adams, of Espyville; and several other nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, in the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Cowansville, and from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Efren C. Ambre officiating. Interment with full military honors will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Brady's Bend.
