Minnie Lee Elder was born October 20, 1883 in Clarksville City, Red River County, Texas to Enos Lafayette Elder and Mary Tennessee "Mollie" Patterson Elder. She married Walter Scott Brewer on November 21, 1900 in the Brewster Methodist Church in Red River County, Texas. They were farmers and lived their lives in Red River County. They had nine children together:

Minnie Lee was a lovely woman and loving mother to her nine children. She had brown eyes and dark hair. She died in Clarksville City, Red River County, Texas on November 11, 1922 at the age of 39 and is buried in the Harris Chapel Cemetery near their farm.
