Willie "Bill" James, 63, died Sunday night at the Statesboro Nursing Home after a long illness. The Bulloch County native was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Willie James Jr., and Alonzo James, both of Statesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Parrish, Denmark, Mrs. Wilma Everett, Brooklet, and Mrs. Rosetta Wells, Statesboro, and many other relatives.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at noon at the St. Mary's Methodist Church, Brooklet, with the Rev. Howell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. James R. Barnes Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
