Elkader Register December 30, 1881

Last Saturday, from the residence of Mr. Milo P. Clark, of Wagner, occurred the funeral of his grandson, a son of Jacob Clark, of Dakota. The little fellow accidentally fell into a cistern and was drowned, his remains being brought to the old home for burial.

The parents will have the heartfelt sympathy of many friends in Clayton county, in their sad affliction.
