Orlinda was survived by her sister Bernina Medina of Albuquerque; brother Arturo Medina (wife Annie) of Chimayo; stepbrother Steven Medina and stepsister Priscilla Romero; nieces: Patricia (husband William Ward), Darlene (husband Ernie), Sharon (husband Adam Candelario), Kelley (husband Kyle MacDonald); nephews: Arthur Medina (wife Joan), Johnny Candelaria (wife Eve), Charles Medina (wife Andrea), and Darin Hankins; great nieces: Brittney Yearout, Ashley Geer (husband Colby), Anamaria and Marisol Medina, Julianna and Monique Candelario, Kennedy MacDonald and Bridget Medina; great nephews: Angelo, Anthony and Marvin Medina, Adam Candelario and Michael Ward.
Orlinda was a very giving person which showed through her contributions to different charitable organizations around the world. She traveled all over the world. Orlinda was a very loving person with a big heart, who cared and loved everyone.
Public visitation and Rosary were on August 2, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Mass of Christian burial was on August 3, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Burial followed in El Potrero Catholic Cemetery in Chimayo. Pallbearers: Charles Medina, Arthur Medina, Angelo Medina, Anthony Medina, Adam Candelerio, and Darin Hankins.
